THE TOP 100 MOVIES OF ALL TIME
In June the American Film Institute voted on the top 100 movies from 1896-1996.
Here is their list of the top ten movies from that period. 
1. CITIZEN KANE
2. CASABLANCA
3. THE GODFATHER
4. GONE WITH THE WIND
5. LAWRENCE OF ARABIA
6. THE WIZARD OF OZ
7. THE GRADUATE
8. ON THE WATERFRONT
9. SCHINDLER'S LIST
10. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN
I agree that these are all outstanding movies,
although if I had to make a list of my favorite movies of all time it would look like this: 
1. Star Wars
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. Return of the Jedi
4. Back to the Future
5. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
6. Ghostbusters
7. The Princess Bride
8. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
9. American Grafitti
10. The Karate Kid
Of the AFI top 100 moives I own nine: 
1. Citizen Kane
15. Star Wars
25. E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
50. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
60. Raiders of the Lost Ark
64. Close Encounters of the Third Kind
77. American Grafitti
78. Rocky
95. Pulp Fiction
And I have seen 32 of the movies on the list but I am working on that blemish right now.
