May 19th, 1999!!

The most anticipated movie of all time opened at 12:01am on May 19th, 1999. I was not fortunate enough to get tickets for the first show. Instead I went to see the 1:00am show. We got there 2 hours early to get in line. The atmosphere was awesome. The place was packed. I went again in the afternoon with my brother and we were first in line. The third time seeing it was the best viewing experince. I ended up seeing The Phantom Menace 9 times in the theater.
